This area is a short drive from Sudbury, on Highway 144 on the way to Timmins.

Access to the mine tour is through the Shania Twain Centre, and is near the Algonquin Ave/Highway 655 intersection.

The combined tour runs about $23. Expect to spend an hour on the self-guided tour in the STC. The mine tour has a guide and is 2 1/2 to 3 hours long, with underground and above-ground sections. (Note: underground is very chilly and rather wet.)

I enjoyed both facilities.
