Brief outline of the trip was
* Fly Vancouver - Phoenix - San Jose with US Airways
* Two nights in San Jose
* Bus to Caribbean coast for a two night stay in Puerto Viejo with a day in Manzanillo
* Bus and boat to Tortuguero
* Boat(with a 10 minutes stay in Nicaragua) and bus to Las Horqutas and then tractor to Rara Avis for 2 nights
* Bus to La Fortuna for three nights near Arenal Volcano
* Bus, boat, horse, bus to Monteverde for 2 nights
* Bus to Quepos for three nights in and around Manuel Antonio National Park
* Bus to San Jose for one last night
* Flight home via Phoenix and Las Vegas and into arms of patient girlfriend
