You are at the home page of Team Whump International. There are actually many Team Whump homepages throughout the world, but this is the officially sanctioned headquarters one. From here you can view the history of Team Whump, revisit standings marching back to the Internet Grand National 4th season, and see the ongoing "online" seasons still being run by the Whump. As usual, you can navigate back to other sites through the Site Map or the navigation bar provided above. Team Whump Revisited: The chronicles and history of Whump through the Internet Grand National 4 through 8 series. TWI Apparel: It's been a long time coming; now even average internet racers (like Falcon used to be - average) can look fashionable in quality TWI race wear. The Whumpston: Finally, Falcon got around to finding and arranging for the crafting of a suitable trophy. See this page for details on who the past winners are. Whumpservations: The first practice session with all three Whump running together in the N2002 racing package was held on November 20th, 2002. The Whump-servations are worthy of a quick look as they provide a keen insight into the racing mind, or perhaps just of the Whump mind. Internet Grand NationalPast and present seasons of the Internet Grand National - the longest running racing simulation series in the world. Although season standings and stats were maintained by Falcon Whump from IGN4 onwards, IGN6 files and pages have been lost. If anyone has the details from the IGN6 season, Falcon and TWI would be more than happy to receive them and will post them here. Note the display format may vary for older pages and may be text based and/or different resolutions.
Racing Pictures: In both the private season and a few multiplayer races, there have been some worthy picture opportunities. These cover N3 and N2002 Series. Lots of pictures embedded right in the page so it will be a slow loader even for cable modem users. Whump at the Track: Pictures of Falcon and Wally at the Track. Lots of pictures embedded right in the page so it will be a slow loader even for cable modem users. Falcon's Seasons:Prior to the IGN9 Season, Falcon prepared for a triumphant return through a private season, consisting of himself and 42 of NASCAR's hottest drivers. With a 97%AI, Falcon was able to run away with Poles and Wins at many tracks, with just a few exception. As 97% was too easy for Falcon, he started to repeat the season at 98%AI and longer races. Falcon finished 18 of 36 races with a lead of 833 points over the field. Seeing 98% not much more challenging than 97%, Falcon abandoned the season, claiming victory of course. Falcon then paralleled the 2002 Winston Cup schedule with his own 100%AI/Length season to gain an appreciation for the grueling work the drivers have to put in (albeit in more comfortable settings). Falcon felt his car and driving were finally be up the task and wanted to attack this daunting task before having to switch into NR2002 where all bets are off in terms of even making it around the track. Driving the #3 Goodwrench Chevy and back in the comfortable black 2000 styling, Falcon completed a 100% Series. Because it was a huge undertaking, the individual race results are posted with the current standings.
