This is something I have been working on for my own information
and I thought perhaps others might find it of interest, as well.
How much will your cards cost you?
OK, there's the "book value" on what they are worth but would you pay that?
I wouldn't. I am much too cheap.
For quite a while, I have tracked ebay auctions on LOOSE Canadian cards and sets. The range of selling prices is sometimes quite substantial, so I will not only list the average, but the lowest price paid and then the highest. Quality is the big "iffy" part. All auctions counted presented their cards as in at least very good condition but that is still subjective. For example, one auction states cards are "Very Good with some general wear, stains and creases". To me, that is pretty contradictory. I did not count these cards. **Also, I do not claim to have caught every auction out there.**
All amounts are in U.S. funds. (And don't forget, this is without shipping charges tacked on.)
