Sioux City, Iowa
|
Just a short
drive down the highway from Sioux Falls South Dakota is Sioux City
Iowa, where our first
of two Pastors for Peace events for the day was held.
The Lewis and Clark Expedition made camp in this area in 1804 in order
to make contact with the Omaha indians.

Our event was held in the attractive and modern Wilber Aalfs Library
located in the city center.

The Siouxland Peace Coalition
who sponsored the event and held a planning meeting prior to the event
As we do at all our events, T-shirts and Videos and literature were
available.
