On July 3rd, Jim Bouman of Waukesha Wisconsin, and Tom Cherveny of Winnipeg Canada arrived in Edmonton
and were welcomed into the home of a friendly family.  It was here that our Route F caravan began
Supper - Edmonton Blyth and Corrine, our hosts, prepared and shared their meals and their home with us. We spent an enjoyable evening getting acquainted and learning about the culture and hospitality of Edmonton.

A time to rest after loading all manner of medical supplies and equipment and books into Tom's van.

The Edmonton Pastors for Peace event was held at the Ukrainian Centre, where we met and were
fed and entertained by a community of people interested in helping to bring about the end of a
50 year long immoral economic blockade of Cuba.

As you can imagine, with an anticipated 100 tons of humanitarian aid to be transported overland through the
United States and Mexico, and then by ship to Cuba, our costs for this project are enourmous.

Pastors for Peace wishes to thank the participants and supporters for their generous financial donations which will help
to make this year's caravan a success.  A huge thanks to Not Just for Tourists - Edmonton for their work in gathering
and packing a substantial amount of humanitarian aid that will accompany the caravan to Cuba.
