Like Picasso, Haring's work is so simple and classic - it makes you want to say "I can do that!" and that's what genius is all about.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail holy queen enthroned above, O Maria
Hail mother of mercy and of love, O Maria
Triumph all ye cherubim
Sing with us ye seraphim

Our hope in sorrow and in love,  Oh, oh, oh, oh Maria
Triumph all ye cherubim
Sing with us ye seraphim
Heaven and earth resound the hymn

Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace,
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I was lost but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Then when we first begun.
Amazing Grace,
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I was lost but now I'm found

Was blind but now I see @back
Crazy
Crazy, I'm crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy, crazy for feeling so blue
I knew, you'd love me as long as you wanted
And then someday you'd leave me for somebody new.
Worry, why do I let myself worry?
Wonderin' what in the world did I do?
Crazy for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying and crazy for for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you
Crazy for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying and crazy for for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you  @back
I Will Follow Him
I will follow Him
Follow him where ever He may go
And near him I always will be
For nothing can keep me away
He is my destiny

I will follow Him
Ever since He touched my heart I knew
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
Keep me away
Away from His love

I love Him, I love Him, I love Him
And where He goes I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
I will follow Him
Follow him where ever He may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
Keep me away

We will follow Him
Follow him where ever He may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
Keep us away
Away from His love

(I love him) Oh yes I love Him
(I'll follow) I'm gonna follow
True love, He'll always be my true love
(Forever) From now until forever
I love Him, I love Him, I love Him
And where he goes I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
He'll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
Keep us away
Away from His love

From A Distance
From a distance
The world looks round and real
And the snow capped mountains white
From a distance the ocean meets the stream
And the eagle takes to flight
From a distance there is harmony
And it echoes through the land
It's the voice of hope
It's the voice of peace
It's the voice of everyman

From a distance we're all having love
I know one is in me
And there are no guns, no guns and no decease
No hungry mouths to feed
From a distance we are instruments
Marching in the common land
Playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace
they're the songs of every man
God is watching us, God is
watching us
God is watching us from a distance
From a distance you look like my friend
Even though we are at war

From a distance I just can not comprehend
What all this fighting is for
From a distance there is harmony
And it echoes through the land
And it's the hope of hopes
It's the love of loves
It's the heart of every man
It's the hope of hopes
It's the love of loves
This is love from every man

Wind Beneath Wings
It must have been cold there
In my shadow
To never have sunlight on your face
You've been content to let me shine
You always walked a step behind
So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength
Beautiful face without a name,
Beautiful smile to hid the pain
Did you ever know that you're my hero
And everything I would like to be
I could fly higher than an eagle
'Cause you are the wind beneath my wings

It might have appeared to go unnoticed
But I've got it here in my heart
I want you to know I know the truth
I would be nothing without you
Did you ever know that you're my hero
You're everything I wish I could be
I could fly higher than an eagle
'Cause you're the wind beneath my wings

Did I ever tell you that you're my hero
You're everything I wish I could be
And I, I can fly higher than an eagle
'Cause you're the wind beneath my wings
Fly, fly, fly higher in the sky
So high I could almost touch the sky,
Thank you, thank you,
Thank God for you,
The wind beneath my wings @back
Someone To Watch Over Me
There's a somebody I'm longing to see
I hope that He
Turns out to be
Someone who'll watch over me
I'm a little lamb who's lost in the wood
I know I could, always be good
To one who'll watch over me
Although he may not be the man some thinks of as handsome
To my heart he carries the key
Won't you tell Him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh, how I need
Someone to watch over me

[Repeat  @back
There Can Be Miracles
May nights we've prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
Long before we knew we could
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to "tell"

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayer so often proved in vain
Hope seemed like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
With heart so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to "tell"

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

They don't always happen when you ask
And it's easy to give in to your fears
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way clear through the rain
A small, but still, resilient voice
Says help is very near

The Resurrection (November)
The Church celebrates God's mighty deeds - in particular the Resurrection -
Lazarus (Matthew 6:9-13)  and Jesus (Mt. 28:1-10)

# Students can summarize these on their poster for this month - the poster can be in the form of a calendar
# Students plan a celebration of their own
# Students prepare for
Remembrance Day celebrations.
# Students experience the making of Unleavened Bread
The Resurrection of Lazarus - was a foreshadowing of Christ's resurrection.
The angel stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac and said "God would provide a lamb"
The Resurrection of Jesus - this is the pivotal scripture in the Bible - if this didn't happen our faith is in vain.  Christ's followers were convinced that Jesus had come to Jerusalem to expel the Romans and reveal Himself as the Messiah - they were completely shattered when Christ allowed Himself to be captured, tried and Crucified.  The Resurrection was the greatest miracle of all time and gives us hope for our own some day.

40For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
