Cristina and Vicente Munoz began dancing Argentine tango many years ago. They are familiar with its music since their childhood in their native Chile where they danced Chilean tango style that was similar to close embrace but with simpler moves. In 1998 they started taking classes - to develop their actual tango salon style with open and close embrace - with Argentine tango masters in Canada, Buenos Aires, and Santiago (Chile). They have performed for many appreciative audiences at gala events and charity fundraisers in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Buenos Aires, and Tampico (Mexico). Cristina and Vicente are the Argentine tango instructors at the Recreation Centre, University of Alberta, and at Orange Hall.

They had the privilege to perform improvised (they did not know the music they were to perform to) at Sunderland Tango Club in Buenos Aires (2001) - forced by the circumstances and their tango master Miguel Angel Pla - they are happy that their style was well accepted by the public who usually see performances by the bests tango dancers in the world.  Other performances that they cherish were those at the Francis Winspear Centre (2002) and The University of Alberta ’s Timms Centre for Arts (2006)
