Cummins first discovered her fascination for storytelling in film through her studies in broadcast journalism. Her work has quickly risen through the ranks with a professional edge and technical quality that is beyond her years.

Her producer debut was a music video for TV Heart Attack's song Bang Bang Bang. The video won Best Use of Creativity Award at the No Exit Film Festival, Best BC Music Video at the Okanagan Film Festival, and earned her a nomination for Best in BC at the Leo Awards. She has gone on to produce several more amazing music videos with Broken Mirror Films.

Cummins also expanded in to the world of independent short film with Sour Sam, and Psychosomatic for the 48hr Cinevic Film Slam competition. Psychosomatic won for Best Screenplay and was runner up for the Audience Choice Award. Both short films have screened at Johnstown Film & Wine Festival in Pennsylvania.
