Hi and welcome to my NEW and improved web site!!!!

Well I finally got around to fixing the antiquated web I had before, which was running for about three years.  I just did not have the time needed to update regularly and finally it got to the point that it was easier to just start from scratch and remake the entire site.  Hope you approve.  Navigation has been made simpler and more intuitive.  Navigation has been implemented through a "frame" window on the left which permits access to the whole site.

About me;

My name is Mark and I am a Police Officer with the Ontario Provincial Police.  I am currently assigned to the Forensic Identification Section in the Northwest Region of the Province.  I have been with the forensic unit [FIU] for approximately five years and find it challenging and rewarding.  You can learn more about my career by clicking on "The JOB" link on the left.

Prior to that I was a Aviation Technologist (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) or A&P to all the Yanks out there south of the border.  Aviation is still a great joy in my life and you can also check that out by clicking on the "HOBBIES" link.  Under this link you will also find the many hobbies I enjoy.  At the front of the scale though are my Home Theater, Wine Making, Flying and of course computers.  So don't be shy and poke around!

I originally just created this site to share things of interest that I had with a lot of people I chat with regularly on several forums that I'm a member of.  At the start it was a simple page and then it grew and grew and grew until finally it spanned almost 30 megs of information that just became to hard to manage under my old system...plus it was a mess of hyperlinks and navigation was getting to be a nightmare.  It was also a good test of trying my hand at the HTML language.  Now it's WAY easier with all the specific editors out there.  This website was created with Microsoft Frontpage.  So here we are again with a way more streamlined site.

Make sure you check out my new "toy" in the what's new section.  It's been a while since I updated but I'm getting to it.  I'm going to link to a second area webspace to max out my storage limit and hopefully add a LOT more photos soon.  Check back shortly!
