As a certified Canadian Firearms Safety Course instructor I am able to offer challenges and instruction to those who wish to get their restricted and/or non- restricted firearms licences. To pass this course or challenge, the candidate must demonstrate a knowledge of the legislation concerning the safe possession, transportation, storage and use of firearms and pass the written and practical exams to demonstrate his/her proficiency in handling a firearm in a safe and responsible manner.

* Assume every firearm is loaded.
* Control the muzzle direction at all times.
* Trigger finger must be kept off the trigger and
out of the trigger guard.
* See that the firearm is unloaded - PROVE
it safe.

the firearm in the safest available direction.
* Remove all cartridges.
* Observe the chamber.
* Verify the feeding path.
* Examine the bore.
