Stackton Project

In order to give my creations a unifying thread and a focus I came up with the idea for a LEGO town that would have a history. I could build in different themes but relate them all to characters in the history of a ficticious place called Stackton.

Ths means I can build Castle components and make them part of the medieval town. I plan on a small naval vessel from the Napoleonic era (inspired by Jack Aubrey's Surprise) which will be commanded by an Admiral the Lord Stackton early in his career. I even plan to do some modifications to create a small Roman garrison for Stactum (or whatever I end up calling the Roman-era fort.) At some point I even hope to complete the Stackton Town Football Club stadium populated with assorted supporters and a complete set of two teams playing for the FA Cup. I may even get a football special on the train line and ... Well, you get the idea.

The fun thing is I can build for years and never run out of new projects. So, keeping in mind I have just started this project (2004) and I have two small children taking most of my time, please don't email me with complaints that there isn't much here yet. Come back in five years and there will be lots more.
