About this site

Christmas 2004

This is a street scene with a pair of small businesses next to "our" house. I say "our" house because while I am using my minifig family the house itself bears no resemblence to any house I have ever lived in.

Shops

Above we see the local coffee shop "The Coffee Cauldron" where local residents and workers from nearby offices alike congregate for their caffeine fix. Even in the winter they like to sit outside and enjoy the bustling streetlife.

Below is a local gift shop selling variety of goods with an Asian theme. The sale table out front is usually good for a 30-50% discount on last seasons fashionable knicknacks or tableware.

House

Arriving home after work Dad finds the kids playing in the yard. Mom is coming out to check on the kids and greets Dad.

While the kids are building a snowman (above) Santa is getting head start on deliveries (below).

Notice the roof was never filled in completely. I filled in just enough to mount a chimney and Santa because the completed model was to sit on an upper shelf of a bookcase. The height meant no one shorter than 7' would see the top.
