Trustee
to attend next PAC meeting
|
|

|
On behalf of KitsPAC, we have invited our trustee,
Shirley Wong to attend the next PAC meeting and she has graciously
agreed to our request.
Our next PAC meeting will be held in the Library on Tuesday 20
February.
Coffee and nibbles will be served from 7:15. If you wish to speak to
Ms Wong informally this would be a good opportunity.
She will speak for the first 10 minutes of the meeting (starting at 7:30 )
and will be open to answering questions regarding the school fees issue.
On Jan 31 several parents from Kits went to the district wide DPAC
presentation on school fees. We were given an update on how the situation
exists at present. KitsPAC reps were able to have an informal discussion
among themselves and the principal, Mr Grant, who also attended.
In brief, everyone is waiting for the Ministry to give the School Trustees
and School Boards a clear directive as to how they are to proceed. We
hope parents will join us at the PAC meeting for discussion and perhaps be
able to reach some consensus as to our position on this issue.

Feeder
School Liaison
|
|

|
It is time to update our contacts with our feeder school
liaison parents. If you are a parent who has children attending an
elementary school that feeds to Kits and would like to take on this (not
onerous) task you may contact kitsPAC@hotmail.com.
If you are already doing this job and wish to continue please let us know
that too.
The job entails sharing information between the PACs from time to time.
It is especially useful from now to the end of term when students make the
