Community seismic meeting

Kits community residents have been meeting to discuss seismeic upgrading of neighbourhood
buildings. Parents at General Gordon have been also investigating the topic.
On Thursday, December 6th there is going to be a community meeting to plan
how to move ahead. This meeting is open to all community members as well
as parents from General Gordon and Kitsilano school.
When? Thursday December 6, 7-9pm

Volunteer Opportunity at the Grade 8
Science Fair

If you are a parent who does NOT have a grade
eight student, and would like to help judge projects for a special
PAC-sponsored award at the upcoming Grade 8 Science Fair on Tuesday,
Dec.11 please contact Gwyneth 604 732 -3301. We especially
need judges who speak both English and French.

Old Spaghetti Factory Bonus
For everyone that orders gift cards/ certificates this Christmas season, The
Old Spaghetti Factory will be giving a free $10 gift card with every
$20 gift card purchased which can be used from January 15th, 2008 until March
15th, 2008. Only one $10 promotional card can be used per table at any one
sitting.
How to participate in the KitsGiftCard Program
Download the order form from the school website, by clicking on
"Parents" on the left hand side, then click on "Kits PAC Gift
Cards", and finally click on "Kits PAC Gift Cards flyer". Drop
it off with your cheque to the school office
accountant by December 13th.

HolidayCookie Bash for
Teachers and Staff: December 14

Join with
us to treat our Kitsilano school staff to some holiday goodies!
Bring along about two dozen baked goodies to the Kitsilano staff room (3rd
floor) on the morning of Friday, Dec. 14th. We also need medium-sized
festive tins, so the staff can select a variety to take home.
It's our way of saying thank you to our hard working Kitsilano teachers,
office and janitorial staff.
Please sign up for the Kitsilano Holiday Cookie Bash at the next PAC
meeting, or send a message to kitsbakes@gmail.com to confirm what you plan to bring.
Help with set-up the morning of December 14th would also be appreciated.

If you can't bake this year, but would like to contribute, we have Kits
