CAPACITY
CAFÉ
|
|

|
On Wednesday
25 April, the SACY group will present the culmination of their year's
work with a Capacity Café style event. Students from Sir Charles Tupper,
the other school in this pilot project will be present to talk in an informal
way to parents.
We encourage all parents at Kits to come to this event to share the
experiences of these remarkable young people.
All the end of year events connected with SACY are posted on our school's
web site.

PAC
MEETING ON WEDNESDAY 18 APRIL
|
|

|
Our second
to last PAC meeting for the school year will be held on Wednesday 18
April in the Graphics Room 508. Maps and arrows will direct you
there on the evening.
Coffee and nibbles at 7:15. Activities will commence at 7:30.
We know that softball season and the Canucks making the Playoffs will be huge
challenges to overcome. However, we have as our guests, several students
from Kits who will present their work in the areas of Graphics, computer
technology and Film and TV.
Over the past few years PAC has focused much financial attention on these
areas of the school. We hope you will come out to see how our students have
benefited from this commitment.
As an enticement, Mr Mehl will produce T shirts with
the words:
Proud Parent of a Student at Kitsilanofor the first 10 parents who
attend.
Short meeting will follow the students' presentations.

PAC's
Grocery Certificates
|
|

|
At absolutely no extra cost to you, you can
easily help our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) raise money for the
school by using gift certificates/ cards from a large variety of merchants to
do your everyday shopping.
PAC purchases paper certificates and plastic cards from large, well known retailers
at a discount. PAC resells the certificates and cards to you at face
value and the PAC keeps the difference as a fundraiser.
The more families participate, the more money gets raised.
Deadline is the first Monday of every month. Download the order form
from the Kits school website: http://kitsilano.vsb. bc.ca
Click on "Parents" on the left hand side. Then click on Kits grocery certificates.
