Born, April 12, 2006, bred and owned by Cara and Roger Takahashi of Surrey, BC, and shown by Swiftsure, "Horace" has made quite an impression in the show ring on both sides of the border. He picked up 7 points his first weekend out in Canada and finished at 9 months of age with a BOB from the puppy classes over BIS specials (pictured). His first US show was the American National Specialty where he made the cut in a large Open Dog class. His next US show resulted in WD for his first US points. His next weekend out was thrilling - 2nd in Open at the Western Washington Whippet Specialty show on August 1st, Winners Dog for a 5 point major (pictured) and the Western Washington Whippet specialty and 1st in Open Dog and Reserve (to a 4 point major)at the Western Washington Hound Specialty the following day! We predict an outstanding show career for this beautiful guy!

Born April 12, 2006, bred and owned by Roger and Cara Takahashi of Surrey, BC. "Morley" just got her start in the ring in 2008, shown by Laura Baratta. Despite not particularly enjoying the show ring, "Morley" finished with wins that included two group placements from the classes. "Morley" has just started racing and lure coursing.
Born April 12, 2006, bred by Roger and Cara Takahashi and owned and handled by Janet Stritychuk of Aldergrove, BC. "Becca" is another one of the multi-purpose whippets from this litter. This solid blue brindle finished owner-handled in the show ring, earned her F.Ch. with some impressive wins, and is an ARX-pointed Top Ten straight racer. Plans are underway for a 2010 litter - the "husband" search is on!
Born April 12, 2006, bred by Roger and Cara Takahashi and owned by Bo and Janet Juzkiw, of Walnut Grove, BC. "Percy" was the first of the litter to be shown and went Specialty WD at his very first show at 6 months of age. He finished his championship with a BOB from the classes at 11 months of age, owner-handled by Janet. "Percy" is also AKC pointed and is currently working on his Rally titles in both Canada and the US.
Born April 12, 2006, bred by Roger and Cara Takahashi and owned by Rod and Joyce Eide of Surrey, BC. "Liam" leads a very active life travelling with his owners to their favorite RV spots. "Liam" is so beautiful, we were able to persuade them to let us show him. He started his show career at 2 years of age and finished in short order with two 3-point wins and a Best Opposite over a Special, handled by Swiftsure.
Born March 20, 2006, bred and owned by Chrystle Laidman of Chilliwack, BC. "Bobbie" picked up 5 points at 6 months of age, the first weekend she was shown by her owner/handler. Shown lightly, she finished at 13 months of age. "Bobbie" has started racing and coursing and has 40 points toward her Field Championship.
Born March 20, 2006, bred and owned by Chrystle Laidman of Chilliwack, BC. Beautiful and powerful, solid black brindle Celine has made quite an impression on the race track and has 12 points toward her Racing Championship in only three meets. Celine is also lure coursing pointed.
Born July 7, 2006, bred by John Ross and owner/handled by Trudy Taphorn in Alberta. What can we say about the incomparable "Jill"?? Her show career started at 6 months of age where she went BOB, Group 1st and Best Puppy in Show her first weekend out. This was followed by numerous Puppy in Show and Group wins. At just 12 months of age, she won the Rocky Mtn. Whippet Specialty and 3 weeks later went Best in Specialty at the Canadian National Whippet Specialty! She finished 2008 as Canada's #2 Whippet with 8 Bests in Show.
Off to a great start in 2009, Jill won BEST IN NATIONAL SPECIALTY for the second time in June under breeder-judge Sharon Sakson. 2009 was a banner year for Jill and Trudy with 5 more Best in Show awards and ending the year as Number One Whippet and Number 7 Hound. We are so proud of Trudy and Jill's accomplishments!
Born July 7, 2006, bred and owned by John Ross, Saskatchewan. "Colors" has had to take a backseat to her top winning sister, but did finish her show championship handled by Trudy and Natasha Taphorn in fairly quick order.

Born September 2, 2006, bred and owned by Debbie LaMonica, Washington. "Rumba" had an extremely successful puppy career, finishing her title at 8 months of age with a 4 point Best of Winners award, under Australian breeder-judge, John Thompson, handled by Swiftsure. "Rumba" made an auspicious American show debut at 9 months of age winning a 3 point major! We expect big things from this beautiful little brindle girl - in the ring, on the track and on the coursing field.
