Choir...
Music is not something separate from the rest of the service, but it is part of the whole worship of the church. As members of the Choir, we make our musical offering through our singing.
The Choir along with the organist, leads in the traditional worship services, funerals, and joint services with other parishes. Music in liturgy has a long history at St. Luke's. The Choir is familiar with the singing of the canticles found in both the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Altarnative Services. There are weekly practices and no formal musical training is required. All are welcome to join. The Choir is self-supporting and from time to time fund raising activities are held.
Our aim is to minister through music to the glory of God. We trust God will help us continue to sing His praises.
