awarded to

Sergeant J.C. Stewart
In recognition of outstanding service

in the feild of accident prevention through education. Recognizing the important role maintenance has in flight safety, Sergeant Stewart displayed great initiative and professionalism as part of a three person team in developing a seminar for 500 series technicians. The Human Performance In Maintenance seminars are the result of the tireless efforts of Sergeant Stewart and the team as they reviewed over 3000 flight safety incedents, developed lectures and honed their presentation skills. From this initial 19 Wing Comox initiative, the seminars have been offered across the Air Force with the result of creating a greater awareness amongst technicians of the critical role they play in flight safety. Sergeant Stewart's dedication to the Air Force and the Flight Safety Programme is commendable and reflect highly upon his professionalism and leadership.
