Stephanie's Christian Resources and Links for SurvivorsAs a Christian, it is important for me to have faith in Jesus Christ as He does the healing in our minds, our souls and our hearts. And because I am a multiple doesn't mean that we are demon possessed. In fact, I believe that God has allowed us to be a multiple in order to deal with the pain that we experienced as a child. God has always provide a way of escape for me, and one of these escapes is of dissociation. Each day, as we learn and grow in God's way, we find ourselves not needing to be dissociative but rather to learn to cooperate with each other in the community as we heal and grow in God's grace. Each of us has its own special way of life and I really feel that God has a special ministry for each of us in the community and also a greater understanding for us to be whole person again in that we may serve Christ in a greater way then we ever expected. The following are links to some of the Christian resources that I have found on the world wide web. I hope this will be a resource to you as it has for us. These resources are concentrated on those who are survivors of all types and those who are multiples. Please be safe when you are reading it.
The Cost of True Service to Christ PowerPraise: Struggles and Spirit The Centrality of the Cross in Healing Blessing: a brief introductory Bible study on an often undervalued Christian mandate A Narrative Context for Conversations with Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse Recovery from Distorted Images of God
The following links to some more of the Christian resources that I have found that is such an inspiration to me. They are not focused to the survivors but is focus to everyone of us who are a Christians. It is still a blessing to me to know that God loves each of us regardless of who we are in this society.
