Can not be fired if the ship has been crippled or is on "Burn Retros", "All Ahead Full", "Come to New Heading", or "Brace for Impact". Place Nova Cannon template so that its far edge is at the range guessed. If the center hole passes over a ships base (friend of foe!) that ship suffers D6 automatic hits, if any other part of the template hits a ships base it suffers 1 automatic hit. If no ships were hit, place a blast marker under the center of the template. -

If the ship carrying mines suffers a critical hit to the launch bays then the ship takes an extra D3 hits due to the mines exploding unless it had run out of ordnance.; Launch Bays have been refitted to launch Orbital Mines instead. -
