DROP-IN LACROSSE ENDS MARCH 17TH!
Winter drop-in Lacorsse is nearing the end. The last sessions for 2010 wind up on March 14th for Bantam and Midget Players and March 16th-17th for Tyke through PeeWee players.

Winter duldrums got you in the blahs? Eat too much turkey, pyrogies or blintzes over the holidays? Rust starting to set in after spending too much time shoveling snow, taking out the recycling after the holidays, or skating on thin ice? It's time to pick-up the sticks and hit the floor for an early start to the lacrosse year! Floor time is now available for both boys and girls for all age groups. Cost is $5. Helmets, gloves and sticks are required. Because of the floor at Millenium, we also recommend kneepads be worn. All times are at Millenium Place in Sherwood Park.

Mini-Tykes and Tykes - Tuesdays 4:30 - 5:30;
Novices and Pee Wees - Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30;
Bantams and Midgets - Sunday nights, full equipment, at 8:45 – 10:45 pm.

Drop-in starts the week of January 10th, 2010. Drop-ins are for girls and boys. 'Girls only' drop-ins for new players or those wanting to work off the rust is now scheduled for February 28th and March 7th at the Dow Centre in Fort Saskatchewan. For more information about Girls Lacrosse, contact one of our Girls Co-Directors, Lisa Johnston or Mark Asbell. For more or more information about Drop-in lacrosse generally, contact our Vice President and Director of Coaching, Robert Miller.

This year, in addition to our traditional powerhouse divisions, we look forward to entering an "all girls" team in a brand new division of "all girls" Novice lacrosse. We are currently looking for girls of all age groups from Mini-Tyke right up to Midget. If you have any questions about girls lacrosse, please feel free to contact one of the co-directors of girls' lacrosse.

COACHES SITE
Studies show the most influential person in a young person's life isn't necessarily a parent or teacher. Rather, its their coach. Coaches can, and often do, have a tremendous influence over the development of our youngsters as young men and women are often freer to speak openly to their coach than to any other person. The Sherwood Park Titans Lacrosse Association takes this relationship very seriously. Do you want to be a positive influence? Have you got the experience, passion and positive enthusiasm to be a head coach? Do you want to gain experience as an assistant coach and help develop our players into positive role models? If you are interested in helping out and meet these requirements, we (and more importantly our kids) want you. Coaches are needed for the upcoming season for all age categories – Mini-tyke, Tyke, Novice, Pee Wee, Bantam & Midget. Please complete the attached coaching application and forward it to our Vice President and Director of Coaching, Robert Miller. If you are interested in coaching a Pee Wee “A”, Bantam “A” or Midget “A” team, please be specific on your application.

Coaches for all Sherwood Park Titan "A" Teams Announced:
Congratulations to the following coaches who will lead the Titan "A" teams for the 2010 season. Jesse Draper is coach of Midget "A", Rob Davidge is coach of the Bantam "A", and Robert Miller is the coach of the PeeWee "A" team. Congratulations and best of luck!
