The 12 gauge RMB tactical shotgun is a truly unique weapon. Unlike normal shotguns that fire from a underbarrel tubular magazine, the RMB mounts the magazine above the barrel. This configuration makes the weapon much more controllable than conventional shotguns because with the barrel lower, the recoil doesn't cause the muzzle to jump up as much. The weapon is fairly simple in its construction, featuring a folding metal stock and a forward sliding pump action.

The Saiga series of shotguns is a new addition to the small arms scene in Russia. Originally designed for hunting, the military quickly adapted it to be a tactical shotgun. Looking very much like an AK47 style assault rifle, the Saiga 12K takes little retraining for soldiers used to firing the AK47. Its compact design and eight round detachable magazine make it an excellent weapon for CQB. The Saiga 12K can fire the whole range of 12 guage specialty rounds available to police units worldwide, making it a weapon adaptable to a great number of tactical situations.

The KS23 is the full sized version of the KS23M. Fitted with a full length barrel, the KS23 can accurately fire the extraordinarily heavy Barricade round. This gives Spetsnaz units the ability to disable heavy targets at a longer range with out a heavy weapon or sniping rifle.

When a tactical situation calls for raw, brutal stopping power, Russian forces turn to the KS-23M 4 guage shotgun. This bulky, vicious looking weapon is designed to stop anything from armoured criminals to lightly armoured vehicles. A range of heavy buckshot rounds are available to the KS-23, as well as an 80 gram solid slug designed to stop vehicles and capable of penetrating 20+mm of steel plate. While the payload of this monster shotgun is only three shells, a one shot one kill is almost guaranteed.
