Garden Rules and Regulations

The garden area is land owned by the Canadian Red cross that has been leased to the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society for the benefit of the Allard Street Community Garden membership. To ensure satisfactory use of the garden area, garden policies have been implemented.

vANDALISM NO STEALING OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED.  Should it become known that you have taken anything: vegetables, tools, hose, plants, etc., you will lose you garden plot immediately and you membership deposit will not be returned. If vandalism or theft occurs, notify the Garden Coordinator immediately.  Help us discourage losses by questioning unfamiliar faces.  Members are to carry their Garden ID card when visiting the garden.
