Please
respect your fellow gardeners.
Do not expand beyond your designated area. individual
fencing of plots is not allowed. Try to be considerate
and not shade neighbouring gardeners' plots with very tall
plants. keep the pathways clear of litter and weeds.
Any member
who verbally harasses or physically threatens another member
may be expelled from the garden membership by the
Steering Committee.
Do not pick
anything from neighbouring gardener's plots. You MUST
have PERMISSION. Without permission, this action is
considered stealing.

Keep insects and weeds under control.

Children
are welcome
but please
supervise so they do not disturb other plots. You will
be responsible financially for any damage or losses.
Members may invite visitors to the community garden as long
as they assume responsibility for escorting them through the
garden. Please ensure that all
toys
belonging
to the Allard Street Community Garden are left either in the
Children's sandboxes or returned to the Garden Shed.
No pets are
allowed with the exception of Seeing Eye Dogs,
in the community garden area. In public area outside
the garden gates, pets must be firmly leashed and kept to
the pathways. Members are responsible for any cleanup.
Loud radios
are prohibited in the garden. Please use headphones.
No
alcoholic beverages permitted. Growing or using
illegal substances in the garden will result in
immediate expulsion from the garden.
Smoking
is
prohibited within the garden. Tobacco can transmit a
lethal virus to tomatoes and is a health hazard for other
gardeners.
Gardeners are
to
park on the street
and not in the
Red Cross parking lot. Please do not park along Allard
Street in the area marked with yellow paint. This
restricted area is for the Parabus. |
