BCAWA Annual Competition Weekend in Victoria

May 5 - 7, 2006

A most successful competition is now behind us.  Our thanks to all the entrants, judges, stewards, attendees, donors, sponsors and all the many volunteers who, together, made the weekend into the success it was.

COMPETITION:  Competitors  from 11 different winemaking clubs entered 310 wines and 30 beers.  The judges awarded a total of 221 medals (18 Gold, 74 Silver and 129 Bronze).  The competition results are posted on the BCAWA website.

SILENT AUCTION: The silent auction raised over $4000 which is split between our club and BCAWA The list donations and donors can be seen by clicking here.
