Please submit your referee home game needs to the Referee Assignor on a two week rotation. Requests are to be submitted by email to jpculshaw.gmail.com Please be sure to indicate "Referee Request" in the subject line of your e-mail. The format and information required is as follows:

Division & Tier:
Game Date:
Game Time:
Place: (ie. Strathmore Gold or Blue; Standard; Hussar ....)

If officials have not been requested by the above-noted process.... Officials will not be assigned to your game.

If officials are requested and notice of a game cancellation has not been received 24 hours prior to game time, the Officials shall still be paid by your team.
Please also e-mail the Referee Assignor even if your team DOES NOT need officials for upcoming weekends as this will avoid unnecessary phone calls, confusion and errors.

Strathmore Minor Hockey will advance each team approximately 10-15 home games worth of referee payment for their division. The team is responsible for paying each referee immediately following the assigned game as per the payment schedule. The referees MUST be paid cash. Cheques, team or personal, will NOT be accepted.

The Referee Card for Payment must be completed after every game and put in the SMH drop box at the arena. This is mandatory.

If you are traveling out of your ZONE for a tournament OR an Exhibition Game you need a travel permit. To get a travel permit you MUST email the following to smhockey@telus.net.
