Getting here by car:
The City of Courtenay in the Comox Valley is a pleasant 2.5 hour (137
mile or 220 km) drive northwards from Victoria. From the ferry terminals
near Nanaimo it is an approximate 75-minute (66 mile or 107 km) drive.
From Nanaimo, you can drive either the scenic Oceanside Route on the old
Island Highway (19A), or take the new high-speed Inland Island Highway
(19). Highway 19 Exit Number 117 will lead you directly to the main
street of Courtenay, turn left on Cliffe Avenue. The distance from the
Exit 117 to Cliffe Avenue is 5.9 Km., and total distance to the Comox
Valley Inn on Cliffe Avenue is 7.9 Km.
