About Sixty-eight Writes
Sixty-eight Writes is a writing contest intended to inspire and celebrate local high school students in School District # 68, Nanaimo-Ladysmith. This is a parent - initiated project that has been endorsed by the SD68 Education Committee, the District Parent Advisory Council and the Nanaimo District Teachers Association.
The contest is run by parent and student volunteers in cooperation with teachers and administrators, and judged by qualified writers, editors and other professionals who donate their time and expertise for the benefit of the students.
