Text Box: Sixty-eight Writes
2008/09

“Sixty-eight Writes” is a no-fee, non-profit writing contest for Grade 10, 11 and 12 students registered in School-District # 68, Nanaimo-Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada. The contest runs over the course of the school year, and offers prizes of up to $300 in fiction and non-fiction categories. The entry deadline is immediately following Spring Break each year, and prizes are awarded by early June.

An anthology of student writing is produced each year from a selection of the best submissions. Students who do not win a cash prize but whose work is selected for the anthology are paid a writer’s fee in recognition of their efforts. Click on the “Winners” link to read or print the anthology from any year.
