I have been designing jewellery for 20 years and have worked for a number of North American retailers and manufacturers. For some odd reason this photograph, of me and my younger brother acting goofy on the lawn in an English garden, has become my trademark.

Jane Parker's Jewellery Design Resource Site

I have been designing jewellery for over 20 years and have worked for a number of North American retailers and manufacturers. During this time I've designed everything from $1.99 children's costume jewellery to $1,000,000.00 rings and necklaces. I've also won a few awards in some of the industry's design competitions and assembled a bunch of specialised, and moderately useful, information. Here are some samples from my portfolio.

These pages are an effort to assemble this information into a somewhat comprehensive resource for jewellery designers. Here you'll find information about;

What's New

Appraisers and Gem Labs Auctions and Auctioneers Awards
Books Catalogues Design Competitions
Industry Organisations Magazines Museums
Portfolio Schools Tools and Equipment
Trade Shows Web Sites and Related Links and Lots More.

So, you want to hire me.

Even after more than ten years we are still working on refining these pages. Any suggestions that you might have would be welcomed. At the expense of slickness and fancy animated graphics, Simon and I have tried to make these pages fast, informative and easy to use. All graphics have alternatives and we try to check the all of the external links regularly.

(Are you wondering about the spelling that I use for "jewellery"?)

All information presented on this site is included as a courtesy to users. Show dates get changed at a moments notice, magazines move or go out of business and books go in and out of print with an alarming lack of warning. Always check with the source before you book that flight, send that cheque etc. If life does not turn out quite the way you planned, you'll just have to work it out on your own.
