The Glendon's:

Jim and Jane head the Glendon household. Jim (Séamus) is an Irishman. He emigrated to Canada in 1971 and became a Canadian citizen.. Jane grew up in Nova Scotia and moved to western Canada for university. Jim and Jane met and married in Prince George, B.C. Presently, Jane's mother, Lexie and several of her family live in that city. Jim and Jane's youngest daughter, Keelin, has recently moved back to Calgary from Edmonton. She and Ciara are only 18 months apart. The Glendon's currently live in Calgary , Alberta.

The Daykin's:

Roger and Zyta head the Daykin household. Roger and Zyta met and were married in England . They immigrated to Canada in the 80s along with their two children and Zyta's mother, Norah. Norah was born in England and spent the majority of her life there with her husband Marian (deceased). Roger's parents Cyril and Kathleen still live in England. Roger and Zyta's daughter Nicola lives and works in Toronto. She and Simon are 3 years apart. The Daykin's currently live in Georgetown, Ontario.
