Tsehum Harbour occupied a space in my family room of approximately 3' by 6'6". The rather odd shape was determined by doorways located to the left and back sides of the layout and resulted in a layout size of just over 11 sq. ft. When I drew the plan, I had several criteria in mind:

The layout would be dual gauge - On30 and On18.
There would be continuous run, if possible.
There would be a work area on a sliding shelf.
There would be a control panel on a sliding shelf.
There would be an interchange between the On30 and On18 portions of the layout.

Well, I managed to achieve most of my objectives with the above plan. Originally I hadn't thought of a waterfront scene but at the suggestion of Carl Arendt (Micro LAYOUTS for Model Railroads) and Ian Holmes (Ian's Gn15 Pages) I included one on a slide-out which swaps with the work shelf.

I have updated the pages from my old website so, if you are still interested, please check out the links on the left of this page.
