You're invited to Vanessa Viel's Bridal Shower

This bridal shower is being presented to honor Vanessa Viel and to show our support
for her upcoming marriage to J.P. Murphy. Please join us in celebrating her very special day.
The theme of the shower is “For the Home”.

This website has been created not only to inform you of the event, but to provide a more convienent way to RSVP and to share gift suggestions. We know how hard it is to find the right gift, especially for someone like Vanessa, who has lived on her own (with room-mates) for such a long time. So we tracked her down and tormented her night and day until she gave us a long list of ideas. We were also able to get her to pick out specific items that she would like or need from various catalogues.

The Gift Ideas page highlights all the generic items she could use for her bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. The Special Gifts page not only displays specific gift items, their prices, and where they can be purchased from, but also allows you to see if they’ve been purchased by someone else, so duplicates aren’t purchased. Because of the sensitivity of this page (to keep the bride from seeing what she could receive), you will need to enter the user name and password printed on your invitiation to view the list.

Itinerary

Please arrive at 2 pm, when we will have an informal meet-and-greet for Vanessa’s friends, family and aquaintences. There will be lots of finger food including a fruit tray, veggie tray, cracker and cheeze tray, cake and other goodies. We’ve got lots of fun “shower games” planned too. The bride will arrive at 3 pm, when we’ll do the welcomes and introductions, then on to the gift openings. We’ve got a few surprises planned that we can’t tell you about yet ... you’ll just have to be there to find out what they are.
