Bernard MARTIN47 died in 1939. He was also known as Babe. Newspaper man. The youngest of the family, also married twice - first time in his early years. The second was Italian, a sister of Pleasant's wife. Bernard was a photographer of marvelous talent. His black and white film was spectacular. Served in the Signal Corps during WWI. Ended up in Clarkston. Died in 1939. Parents: James MARTIN and Mary MURPHY.
Elaine MARTIN48 died about 1960 in Pullman, Wa.. She was buried in Pullman, Wa.. Married Reid Young and lived in Pocatello. The Youngs were from Pullman and had a big brick family home that was partially destroyed by fire in 1919. Elaine died of High Blood Pressure in the 1960s. Today she could have lived with proper medication. Both are buried in Pullman in the Young cemetery plot. Elaine was very musical. She loved to play the piano. She was a character. When the streets froze in Pocatello she'd take me out and we'd go skating on the ponds. Parents: James MARTIN and Mary MURPHY.

You know the Irish keep things close to their chest. He had a horse drawn cart and carried the kegs of beer around to the hotels. Sometimes he would claim that he couldn't get home because of the muddy streets.

Wanda MARTIN.47 Lived in Indiana. She married a man who worked for the Potlatch Lumber Company, who lost an eye in a lumbering accident and so the company couldn't keep him on. After they let him go they returned to his home in Indiana where he took over the family farm. Parents: James MARTIN and Mary MURPHY.
