A FEW OTHER PROJECTS

The winemaker -for a 'unusual container' club display I used a wine box as a winery. I cut the stone shapes from egg cartons, glued to the wine box and painted them to resemble stone. The wine maker is taking a break from crushing the grapes.

Christmas Wreath

 

I hang this in the entrance hall at Christmas but usually forget to change it back to my regular one until someone reminds me that Christmas is over - - maybe sometime around Easter!!!

 

 

This is one of several Halloween scenes I have made, it is a fun theme to work on.

CHRISTMAS AT THE NORTH POLE

It’s a few days before Christmas –
Before Santa’s midnight run
There still is some work
That has to be done.


Santa is checking his long list
Of little girls and boys
All hoping he’ll leave them
Lots of nice toys.


The elves are all working -
Jack, Jeff, Duffy and Bob.
They’re painting, and wrapping,
Each one has a job.

In the kitchen Mrs. Claus,
Renowned for her baking,
With dinner on the stove, takes them
Cookies she’s been making.

The reindeer are all gathering
To be ready for the night
When they’ll pull Santa’s sleigh
On his around-the-world flight.

Oh-Oh, - Duffy is sneaking cookies again!


Note: Mrs. Claus gets tired of ‘red and green’
so did their room in pink and blue.
Also Santa likes to relax at the end of the day
with a ‘nip from the bottle’ that you’ll see on the bookshelf
