A Remembrance
Thank you, my friend
In Memory

I shall sleep in quiet slumber, when my life with you is done...
I shall sleep, my heart content, that you were the only one
I will wait beyond the rainbow, knowing I shall see,
a time on the horizon, when you will be with me
for I have known I loved you, since I was just a boy,
and you have filled my life's existence, with tenderness and joy
And when at last my journey for the final time is through,
I'll sleep the sleep of angels--- because I spent my life with you.

"Juno"
Koleseland's Heidi CD, CGC

Juno passed on in December, 2002.

In her youth we completed her CD in one weekend (3 shows) with a High in Class win (scored 192!) In the summer of 2001 she was our "demo" and the "neutral" dog in our club CGC test. She had a very sweet personality and incredible face washing abilities. Juno really loved little kids and babies of any sort. When we got our cat Daisy as a kitten, Juno adopted her as her own and kept her very clean. (Even though Daisy thought she was clean enough thank you!) She kept the young dogs in line with a tolerant, kids will be kids, learn some manners attitude.

We miss you dearly...

Sandy and Rosy by the River

Sandy and Rosy

These 2 dogs with their devotion and intelligence won me over forever to The German Shepherd Dog. Sandy was our first Shepherd type dog, although he was a cross (GSD/yellow lab) and was brindle colored, he had the shepherd intelligence. He was a devoted water dog and on more than one occasion dove for that stick that wouldn't float. (the first time we were running in to rescue him when up he popped! WITH THE STICK!)
Rosy came to us at 10 months of age, severely abused and neglected, she was a walking bone rack. Six months later she was a totally different dog, exuberant and full of life! We lost her to bone cancer at the age of 11.
