It
has been almost four years since I first met Davey
and a lot
has gone on since we sat down for the first time to talk.
Davey is about to release his second solo album so we
thought
it would be a good time to do another interview.
I
found it a bit different starting to work on what I was going
to talk
to Davey about for this release, as we have come to be
pretty
good friends. I have always known
the persona
of Davey Pattison........ this wee Scot
with the
huge voice, but over the last while I have gotten to
know Davey
as, well, just Davey, a person ...not just someone
who makes
music.
We have talked for hours on the phone about all kinds of things
and when
I got the first mix of this latest Cd it was a very raw,
drum machine,
guitar in it's early stages but right from the start this
was really
apparent that you were going to get a real glimpse
into the
personal side of Davey Pattison. The ups and downs,
the good
things and the bad things that we all go through at some point
in our
lives.
This is
what this CD is about................ life.
