Almost all (99%) of protected-prohibited signals have the left turn signal on a pole in that median. The sign above the left turn signal can show one or two lanes turning, as appropriate. The yellow indication in the left turn signal is occasionally an arrow, but is usually a normal solid yellow as shown here. To most realistically simulate real signals, this animation has been randomized with regard to the length of the arrows: both the one you can see here, and the arrow for opposing traffic, which you can't see. The through signals (the visible ones and the hidden opposing signals) turn green after the opposing arrow has been red for 2 seconds (watch the pedestrian signals).
