This emergency signal is in the cloverleaf ramp from eastbound 17 Avenue SW onto northbound Crowchild Trail. The Alberta Childrens Hospital is just outside the interchange, and the helipad where the STARS air ambulance helicopter lands is in the area surrounded by the ramp. I have never seen this signal in operation so I don't know whether the red lights come on steady or if they flash or whatever.
