This intersection can be seen on this page at Julian Macdonald's Alberta Roads. This is a T-intersection; 10 Avenue, a minor road, forms the top of the T (east/west). The leg of the T comes from the south and is an on-ramp to Bow Trail westbound/off-ramp from Bow Trail eastbound. Traffic travelling west on 10 Avenue sees this assembly; the left lane turns left onto the Bow Trail ramp, and the right lane continues on towards the Crowchild Trail northbound on-ramp. Beyond that ramp, 10 Avenue leads to a dead end, so there is very little eastbound traffic. The auxiliary signal on the left pole is a recent addition; originally it was just the two overhead signal heads.
