The Sterling Spitfires are playing to the top of their game and have a firm grip on first place in the ..... division. Led by scoring sensation Steven Stamkos, the Spitfires have a very balanced hockey club that will give some teams fits in the playoffs. Along with Stamkos up front, the Spitfires boast young scoring start Michael Grabner, and three large power forwards in Dustin Brown, Dustin Penner and Nik Antropov.

But the Spitfires are not just all offense. On the blueline they boast arguably the top dman in the league in one large body named Zdeno Chara. They also have league leader in hits in Anton Volchenkov. To round out the blueline are two top quality offensive dmen in Erik Karlsson and Andrej Meszaros.

To finish off the balancing act are two stellar French Canadien goaltenders. Roberto Luongo is the starter for the Spitfires and his backup is J.S.Giguere.
