September 11 - A New Perspective |
Roots of the Middle East Conflict |
In
the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth.
God then created the angels. The scriptures compare angels to stars and as far as we know the number of stars is limitless. God placed 3 archangels, Michael ["like God"] Gabrielle ["messenger of God"] and Lucifer ["light bringer"] above all the angels and above His throne as pictured in the Ark of the Covenant here . |
Lucifer, the most powerful and beautiful of the archangels rebelled against God and was cast down to the Earth as the devil and the angels who followed him became demons. They were allowed to tempt mankind till the Messiah would come to annul his power. |
God told Satan that he would have power to "strike the heel" of the coming Messiah but the Messiah would bruise his head and the Messiah will come from the house of Judah, hence Satan's historic and continued hatred of this race and attempts to destroy the Jewish people - the holocaust of World War 11 being the most recent example of his hatred of God's plan and heirs. |
God called Abraham out of Ancient
Babylon so that through Abraham God could bless the nations and redeem
the world from its sins and faults - Abraham would become the father of
many nations and kings shall come from him and in Abraham all the
nations would be blessed.

Ishmael, father of Arabs,
was born to Hagar
Later by a miracle Abraham's wife Sarah gave birth in her old age to a son, Isaac. Sarah commanded Abraham to send Hagar and her son Ishmael away into the wilderness. |
In his old age Isaac passed the blessings on to Jacob rather than to firstborn Esau who had sold his birthright to his brother Jacob for a bowl of soup. Rebecca convinced Jacob to disguise himself as Esau and deceive Isaac [who was almost blind now] into giving the birthright promises to him. |
Jacob had 12 sons, and the birthright promise passes through to the sons of Joseph, who had been sold into slavery by his brothers. Jacob blessed Ephrem and Manasseh. Jacob and his family moved into Egypt and eventually became slaves of a pharaoh till delivered by Moses. |
The descendents of Jacob migrated back to the land of Canaan and after the death of David and Solomon divided into the kingdoms of Judah (Jews) and Israel. Link |

In 721 the Assyrians took the northern Israelites away into slavery - history lost sight of these people to this day |
The Babylonian Empire conquered Judah in 587 BC and took the Jews into Babylon where they lived for centuries. King Cyrus of Persia let them return one day and they rebuilt Solomon's Temple. Eventually they came under Roman control and King Herod rebuilt Solomon's Temple. |
When the Jews revolted in 70 AD, the Romans destroyed the Temple and banished the Jews from ever returning. All that was left of the temple was the Wailing Wall.
The Romans renamed the land Palestine after the
Philistines, ancient enemies of the Israelites and brought other peoples
in to inhabit the land.
In 571 AD Mohammed the Prophet was born and founded the Muslim religion. Palestine came under Muslim control. When he died it is said he ascended into heaven on a white horse from the temple mount so the site became very important to the Arabs. In 1300 AD the Turks gained control of Palestine. Because the Turks sided with Germany in WW1 the British took control of the territory. By the early 1920s Jewish settlers in small groups started arriving and buying land. By 1925 there were over 110 000 Jews living in Palestine. |
Britain tried to stem the flow of Jewish immigration but after the Holocaust of WW11, there was little they could do to stem the flow of migration of peoples who had survived the Holocaust and were persecuted in the countries they tried to return to from slave labor and death camps. They proclaimed the independent nation of Israel on May 14, 1948 |
Arab nations immediately declared war on Israel but the new nation survived the onslaught and ended up with twice the amount of land granted by the United Nations and the Palestinians fled to refugee camps. |
![]() |
From the refugee camps and neighboring Arab countries which want to see the complete destruction of Israel have come the births of terrorist groups which have vowed to attack and destroy Israel and its allies (USA primarily) @ |

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. God save us and have mercy on us! As You gave us help to defeat Hitler and Bushido aggressors in WW11, help us in this hour as well. |
