Bed Quilts

80" x 90" .. Queen size ... made of various blues on a plain white background, entirely hand pieced and hand quilted.

colors range from dark green in the center, radiating out to teal in the middle, then to dark blue with variations of lighter shades of each in between. Machine pieced and hand quilted.

1930's reproduction prints on white background, machine pieced and hand quilted.

from Eleanor Burns pattern of the same name, with scrappy blue log cabins and flying geese, scrappy green trees, gold bearpaws and tan backgrounds. Machine pieced and hand quilted in the ditch with random stars quilting throughout.

scrappy purple butterflies on a pale yellow background, with yellow floral sashing and a co-ordinating border. The butterflies wings and tails are made from hearts, with blanket stich all around and embroidered feelers. Hand appliquéd and hand quilted with a cross-hatch design broken up by random quilted flowers.

Scrappy black & white friendship stars on a scrappy neutral background with light pink stars appliquéd all over, and dark pink words scattered around, including: Wish, Smile, Dance, Imagine, Believe, Laugh, Create, Hope and Inspire. The word Love is on the back in chinese caligraphy. There are various "fun" things for her to find on it, like her name is quilted into the background. The pink stars are in pairs, a big and small of each print, except for 1 pair that is 2 same sized stars. And 1 print that only has 1 star instead of 2. The words are all different fonts, designed by me (no stencil), with the word CREATE in all different pinks, as it should be. The word SMILE smiles. The letters DANCE go up and down, like dancing. The background is all quilted in stars, all the same size except for 1 small star, near her name.
