Location
Bar-V-Nok Resort
Bar-V-Nok Resort
is located in Central
Alberta right on the beach of Pigeon
Lake. We have booked the whole facility for
the weekend Scrapbook Retreat.
Which means, there are no worries about
uninvited guests wandering the facility.
There is a really nice
outdoor fireplace, walking trails,
beautiful view of the lake, tennis court and
basketball nets.
Feel free to spend time by the fireplace, on
the courts, or
take a walk on one of the walking trails. This is a great
way to relax away from scrapbooking.

Main
lodge - this is where the cropping
room and the kitchen is located |
|

This
is the view of the lake from the
porch (main lodge). |
Cropping Room:
|
 |
|
The
Cropping room is large and bright.
The tables are 8 feet long and 3
feet wide. Since we have
booked the whole facility for the
weekend, the crop room will NEVER
CLOSE. So, the die-hard
scrapbookers can crop until they
can't crop anymore.
There
is a porch on the side of the crop
room building. This is a
perfect place to sit and relax or to
eat some of your meals. The
view of the lake from the porch is
beautiful and peaceful.
|
Rec Centre:
|
 |
|
Workshops and some of the games will
be held in the rec centre.
Feel free to use the rec centre for
a place to sit and relax or to eat
your meals. The rec centre is
a short distance away from the main
crop room. |
Sleeping Quarters:
|
 |
|
There are lots of rooms for sleeping,
3 cabins with 10 rooms and 2 bunk
beds in each room. Each room has 2 bunk beds, however, NO ONE
will need to sleep on a top
bunk.
With the
use of all these rooms, large groups can have half a house (5 rooms) to themselves.
Also, single people can have a room
to themselves. They won’t need to share
with someone they don’t know. In
fact, if you would like to have a
room to yourself (even if you came
with a friend) please let us know.
There are enough rooms for everyone
to have a room to themselves.
At this time, due to health
regulations Bar-V-Nok doesn't have
mattresses on the bunks. They
are planning to eventually buy
plastic covered mattresses for the
beds. However, at this time
everyone will need to bring their own
camping mat or air mattress to put on
the bunks. We will let everyone
know if and when the new mattresses
arrive. |
