Christine and Terry Stamper

The Crew

The crew is the husband and wife team of Christine and Terry Stamper.

Christine is a retired physiotherapist and Terry has recently retired after 41 years as a professional engineer.

Our home is Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We have three adult offspring all of whom live in Victoria and all have been in or around sailing for most of their lives.

Tim, our eldest son and his partner Simon own and race a T’Bird.

Penny our daughter and husband Scott have three children Josh, Emma and Trevor, and they still race dinghies, the Tasar. Currently they are North American champions.

Duncan our son and his wife Pam part own a T’Bird, which they also race locally. They have two daughters Jane and Abigail and a new son Tristan (Aug. 31st 2004).

All three Stamper offspring and Scott were on the National Sailing team for several years during the late '80’s and early '90’s as part of their Olympic campaign efforts sailing 470s. All three attended the '92 Olympics as part of the team and Penny then competed again at Atlanta in '96 where Scott was part of the Olympic team also.
