The Saturday AM
League is a fun/social league which curls from 9 to 11 am on Saturday mornings
and is open for all curlers over the age of 14.We are an open unstructured league for men, women and
juniors, who may curl in any position and in any combination.Our players range from novice to
experienced with the objective of having fun in addition to good curling.
We play a round
robin format during the first half of the year, followed by one or two playoff
rounds where the teams are ranked based on their round robin results.In addition to our regular season
games, we also play two skins format games where prize money is awarded for
each end won.Our dues cover the
regular season fees, plus the skins game prizes and the cost of our year end
luncheon. At our luncheon we award our league championship and event trophies,
plus a sportsmanship plaque.
We are seeking additional curlers
interested in filling places available on existing teams as well as new teams.
Novice curlers will enjoy our friendly non competitive atmosphere, whereas
experienced curlers can practice their skills or gain experience playing
different positions.
