League Specific Rules
We will be playing a four rock free guard
zone. For more information see the Official rules of curling above.
Maximum number of spares for
a team is two. Spares may come from off the spare
list or you may obtain your own spare.The spare may play any position as long as the
position played is no higher than the missing player.(If a lead is missing a spare
may only play lead if a skip is missing then the spare may play the
skips position or any other position the team chooses)
2 points
for a win.Ties - If the
game (8 ends) is completed by10:50 am play an extra end. If after 10:50
am skips rocks (or any team member) decide and they may be swept.2 points for the winner and 1
point for the looser.
No regular
end may start after 10:45 except in the event of a tie.For example if the 7th
end finishes at 10:45 or later the game is complete and no more play
happens. However, in the event of a tie after regular play the extra end
rule or skip rock rule applies
