LINK EASY™

Subzoning Module

Dimming Ballast Logo

Description

The Easylite™ Link Easy™ control module is a pass-through device that takes two control inputs and selects, via several user adjustable settings, which input is output to the lighting fixtures.

The Link Easy™ is installed in the three-wire Easylite™ analog control loop at any location desired by the designer/user to provide sub-zone control of any number of fixtures.

The control inputs to the Link Easy™ may be any combination of: local dimmers, Daylite Harvesters, Address-a-lite™ zone controllers, or occupancy sensors.

Output is to the three-wire Easylite™ control loop and the fixtures connected "downstream" of the Link Easy™. A button on the front panel of the Link Easy™ allows convenient selection of whether the brightest or dimmest control signal will be passed through to the output ("in" brightest, "out" dimmest).

Features

The Link Easy™ module offers unlimited flexibility to sub-zone fixtures within the three-wire analog control circuit connecting Easylite ballasts. Quick, low cost modifications and options may be implemented utilizing low voltage "plug & play" wiring and components. No power wiring is necessary to effect major or minor system sub-zoning. ¦There are options available for custom tailoring of the Link Easy™ to suit specific user requirements. These options are accessed via "bit" switches located inside the module enclosure. The options specifically include:

Override – The Link Easy™ may be used to override a control setting for a fixed time period (eg. A zone which is off via Easytalk™ scheduling may be turned on during "off" hours; an executive office may be manually adjusted to any desired setting during daylight harvesting; etc.). In the override mode the override signal has unlimited capability to operate the fixtures from full bright to dim for the pre-set time period.

Override is activated when a minor change is detected in the "control" input. At the termination of the pre-set period the output signal returns to the previous setting. The default setting of the #1 bit switch from the factory is in the non-override mode.

Override pre-set periods The bit switch settings of switches #2 & #3 may be sequenced to four different pre-set periods of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours
