Description
The Easylite™ Daylite
Harvester™ is a ceiling mounted sensor/controller, which sets
and maintains a user adjustable illumination level in an area. It operates
in conjunction with the Easylite™ fluorescent lighting
system. The sensor may be mounted either in the ceiling grid or on the
lower surface of an indirect fixture. The slimline controller is remote
from the sensor and may be mounted either in the ceiling plenum or within
the ballast channel of a fixture within 24" of the sensor. The
controller, via the Easylite™ fluorescent lighting system
may operate a virtually unlimited number of ballasts/fixtures.
Operation
The Daylite Harvester™ may
be adjusted to the desired room light level by shining the beam of a
standard flashlight into the sensor. The controller will begin a gradual
adjustment of the light fixtures from dim to bright over a 20 second
period with this cycle repeated every 20 seconds until the flashlight beam
is removed from the sensor. Upon removal of the flashlight beam, the
sensor and controller will set the room light level at that moment and
will adjust the intensity of the light fixtures in response to the sensor
setting. If solar light results in sufficient illumination to eliminate
need for interior lighting, the controller will shut-off power to the
fixtures.
The Daylite Harvester™ may
be used in conjunction with Easytalk™
software, Address-a-lite™
zone controllers, Link
Easy™ sub-zoning modules, local dimmers, and occupancy
sensors.
